In this position, employees will be responsible for the operation of forklifts to transport and stack materials in a safe and productive manner.
Shift.
12 hour rotating shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next) Pay.
an hour Primary Functions.
Understand Pedestrian & Mobile Equipment safety in the work area General housecleaning of the work area Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner Understand Plant & Distribution Safety Rules Able to understand and apply all safety procedures Understand and follow all SOPs related to the Distribution Take Off operations Understand all Plant emergency situations & procedures Complete Employee Safety Orientation & all safety training programs Report all safety incidents to Team or Group Leaders Proper use of necessary PPE required in the Plant work areas Proper transport and stacking of board in a safe and productive manner Ensuring risers are removed from all bays when empty Operation of propane powered forklifts to load, unload, transport and stack materials Completion of pre –shift / walk around inspections of forklifts Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, fueling or replacing propane tanks.
