We run health centers throughout Värmland and there are three emergency hospitals here: in Arvika, Karlstad and Torsby.

Torsby Hospital is the county's northernmost emergency hospital with 24-hour operations. The new facilities house the emergency clinic and outpatient clinics for all specialties. The hospital has no clinics, is flow oriented, and is based on patient needs. We work on the basis of the vision of 'creating a hospital where we can imagine ourselves as patients'.
Here activities are carried out in internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, anesthesia, surgery and intensive care, radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy and palliative care. Surgical activities include both orthopedics and surgery, including endoscopic activities. There is also a dialysis department here.
2,500 surgeries per year.

Job requirements

• Qualification of specialist recognized in the EU
• EU citizenship or long-term residence in the EU
• Good record, clear criminal record
• Empathetic, self-confident, flexible, motivated, socially outgoing
• Possibility of completing the intensive course of Swedish organized by Paragona

Other data of the position

Fixed salary. There are collective agreements.
• minimum SEK 64,000 gross per month (minimum SEK 41,450 net)
• as a consultant or senior consultant between ca. 71,000 (approximately SEK 44,600 net) - SEK 75,000 (approximately SEK 46,400 net) or more.

Individual salary + annual salary increase + extra work shifts

Social benefit: child allowance - SEK 1,250 net / month per child
