PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions or stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

Mission:

• You will manage the production under his/her responsibility, in respect to the objectives assigned by the APU Manager.
• You will be responsible for production in terms of SQCDM and targets achievement.
• You will be responsible for animating and managing the teams.
• You have to lead continuous improvement of his/her perimeter.
• You have to spend most of time genba.

Your responsibilities:

• You have to analyse flexibility and multiskills needs of his/her perimeter, and define training plans in order to develop team autonomy and improvement spirit.
• Manage daily: absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, communication & performance boards update.
• Ensure respect of standard stops (breaks, meetings) by checking systematically on genba, and validate operators working time.
• Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor (eg. KOSU) and perform escalation according to standards.
• Is responsible for personnel involvement and ensure a positive social climate.

Requisitos del puesto

Required skills and experience:

• Be result oriented, commitment to teamwork within an international environment;
• Professionalism and transparency;
• Good level of English as well as Spanish
• Passion for the automotive industry.
• Electronics Engineering Degree
• Experience in manufacturing, or process engineering – methods (2-3 years), or beginner with previous training in manufacturing
