ROOM SERVICE SERVER

maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a Room Service Server is to deliver food and beverage orders to guests' rooms with promptness, professionalism, and JOIA Aruba's signature warmth.
This role ensures that each guest enjoys a luxurious, personalized in-room dining experience, upholding the brand’s commitment to sustainability, authenticity, and excellence.
As Room Service Server, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
-Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and quality presentation -Set up in-room dining tables or trays with attention to detail, elegance, and hygiene standards -Explain menu items, answer guest questions, and offer recommendations or upselling where appropriate -Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations -Retrieve used trays or trolleys from guest rooms in a timely and discreet manner -Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining service areas, pantries, and equipment -Handle guest concerns or special requests with grace, escalating issues when necessary -Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per local health regulations and Iberostar policy -Accurately complete billing procedures and maintain privacy and professionalism at all times -Uphold JOIA Aruba’s luxury standards and Iberostar’s core values in every guest interaction Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
-High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification preferred -At least 1 year of experience in food & beverage service, ideally in luxury hospitality or in-room dining -Basic knowledge of food hygiene and service etiquette -Fluent in English; Papiamento, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus -Physically fit and able to carry trays, push trolleys, and stand for extended periods -Familiarity with POS systems and basic billing procedures Se ofrece Our proposal for you.
