Tiny Tigers Day Nursery is located on the London Road in East Grinstead, West Sussex (United Kingdom). Our website is www.tinytigers.co.uk where you can see some photos of our setting.
A wonderful opportunity has arisen in our fantastic, homely Nursery. We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic practitioner to join our dynamic team as our Pre-School Room Leader in our 3-5 year old (Tigers Room).
We do require English speakers but we would love for you to teach Spanish to our staff and the children!
You will be supervising other members of staff and have full responsibility for the Pre-School following EYFS guidelines. (Early Years Foundation Stage).
The ideal candidate would have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status for the UK) or NVQ Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications or equivalent would be considered based on experience. There are opportunities for career progression so this role would suit someone who is looking to advance into Management.
Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are essential along with experience of delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). A Knowledge of online learning Journal (useful but not essential)
Examples of tasks required for the role:
Keep up-to-date records of each child:-
Medical
Record all development on appropriate forms and review monthly
Handovers to parents to include: what the child has eaten, daily activities, personalized
Complete all forms when a support needs child has been identified, ie. Play plans etc with SENCO Co-ordinator
Mandatory – All Room Leaders must make sure that all children are logged in/out on register for fire regulations
Support in implementation and development of Early Years Foundation Stage
Normal shift: 08:00-18:00 Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch break) 45hr working week
The successful applicant will receive:
Salary Range: £33,930-£35,100 dependent on experience

Job Requirements
Ideal Applicants would have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status in the UK)
Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years
You will need to get your Qualification verified through https://ecctis.com/Qualifications/EYS/Default.aspx with the Early Years Statement
Knowledge of Pediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, 7 areas of Learning.
Enthusiasm for helping children learn and progress
