PUBLIC CLOUD SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Your day to day.
As a Public Cloud Support Specialist, you will build and operate public cloud infrastructure services and technology solutions for European wide Vodafone applications and customers.
You will design, plan and implement a growing set of public cloud platforms used to provide mission critical infrastructure services to Vodafone customers.
Also, your responsibilities will be to constantly analyze, optimize, reduce costs of Vodafone Public Cloud IT infrastructure environment.
The Public Cloud Support Specialist will provide technical support in a consultative manner to assist markets and group functions for the infrastructure being administered.

·        Manage project driven integration and day-to-day administration of public cloud solutions ·        Driving public cloud solution automation and integration activity for Cloud Providers like AWS, etc.
and Tenant (Project) workloads.
·        Build and deploy public cloud infrastructure by using terraform code ·        Develop Shell and Python scripts for infrastructure automation like reporting cronjobs using Docker containers ·        Troubleshooting application connectivity between public cloud Kubernetes infrastructure and local legacy infrastructure.
·        Provide on-call support for public cloud infrastructure services 24x7.
With these skills you are a great candidate.
·        5+ years public cloud infrastructure skills.
·        Cloud Technology, Network, Security and Platform Expertise (AWS) ·        Knowledge in AWS cloud services like VPC, EC2, ECS, S3, EBS, Glacier, ELB, Elastic IPs, etc.
·        Expertise in automation and workflow such as shell and Python scripts, terraform.
·        Expertise in CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, ArgoCD ·        Expertise in DevOPS relevant infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) ·        Knowledge of reporting tool such as Splunk ·        Knowledge in troubleshooting Linux/Unix ·        EC2, ECS and VPC operations activities in AWS.
·        Storage allocation and maintenance in AWS & Azure by using S3, EBS, Glacier.
·         Consult and develop public cloud knowledge and expertise within the project.
·        Troubleshoot Kubernetes instances performance, capacity issues, etc.
·        Support the establishment of DevOps culture and methodologies within the project ·        Providing professional technical consultancy and support to all Cloud-related programmes and existing environments.
