The company has steadily been building a world-class team of experts in the offshore wind industry and related sectors.If you are a person who is passionate about the #offshore or #naval sectors, and want to develop professionally in #renewableenergies surrounded by a young and innovative environment, keep reading 👇We are looking to incorporate a mid-level Naval Architect / Marine Engineer in our team, to take an active role in the detail design of our full-scale floating wind platforms, with a strong focus on class and fabrication drawings and 3D detail design modelling.Essential requirements to apply for this position:• Engineering degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering or similar. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marine, offshore or floating wind design according to class rules is essential (ideally DNV, BV or LR).• Excellent 2D drafting and 3D modelling skills and attention to details.• Experience with 3D detail design tools for marine and offshore industry.• Knowledge of weld types and typical details• Good English language skills (written and spoken).• Strong passion for renewable energy and green technologyAdditionally, the following characteristics will also be highly valued:• Experience with preliminary and basic design tools such as Rhino or SolidWorks• Manufacturing experience gained on a shipyard floor or offshore manufacturing workshop.• Experience with nesting tools and knowledge of commercially available row materials.• Understanding of fabrication costs and manufacturing feasibility.• Understanding of structural strength, fatigue mitigation and first principles calculations.• Be a proactive person, able to take the initiative and work independently if required.• Good Spanish language skills.What we offer:Place of Work: Barcelona, Spain (at our Poblenou – 22@ District office).Flexible ScheduleRemotely work possible (2-3 days/week)🏡Health privat ensurance 🌡Incentive plan: bonus and phantom sharesJoin a dynamic, young and highly motivated team working in an innovative renewable energy system with a potential to contribute substantially to the energy transition🌱Opportunity to grow within a young company in an industry which is still in its early days and is expected to grow >20% p.a. for the next 3 decades 💚
