Who are we looking for ?

The Space and Resilient Communications and Systems unit is looking for a satellite communications engineer.

The candidate will work in the development of 5G NTN systems and their applicability to EU-GOVSATCOM. Moreover, the candidate will participate in experimental activities involving final users and the transmission via a real satellite.

What do we offer? :

• We offer an indefinite contract of scientific technical activities. Once this project will finish, you will join other projects in the same research line, subject to budget availability.
• Annual gross salary according to the profile of the candidate
• Full-time contract: 7,5 h/day. Flexibility
• Expected professional category: R1 .

Qualifications and Experience

• We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic person, aiming at significantly improving his or her career perspectives in both public and private sectors. The successful applicant should have the competencies of R1
• Required qualification/skills/ experience:

- Bachelor degree in telecommunications or similar (25 points)

- Fluent knowledge of English both spoken and written (25 points)

• Other skills that are valuable, but not mandatory are:

- Master degree in telecommunications or similar. (10 points)

- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python). (20 points)

- Knowledge of software defined radio systems. (10 points)

- Knowledge of satellite communications. (10 points)
