In QAD Consulting and Transformational Services we support our global services projects by delivering offshore and onshore consulting services to our clients worldwide, remotely mainly, often working hand in hand with local consultants in the Region. Client ProjectsWhat you will do:Implement mainly QAD ERP Customer Orders, Shipping, Packaging, Sourcing, Receiving, Inventory, Supplier Performance and Customer and Supplier Release Management modules but also other QAD solutions related to QAD ERP like EDI, Demand & Delivery or Automated Solutions (data collection automation)Work in a global consulting team delivering professional services to global clientsProvide services, remotely mainly, though limited traveling can be required especially during certain critical implementation project phases (ex: go-live support)Perform a range of activities required to enable the client to successfully implement and utilize QAD applicationsDetermine detailed activities on a project by project basis. Tasks may include system configuration, training, business process design, testing, gathering requirements for extensions and others as requiredFrequent and regular communication with clients. Interact with clients and is adept at establishing solid working relationships at several levels.Thoughtfully and carefully researches and analyzes problems, articulates the issues, options, advantages and disadvantages and presents resolutions.Always responds to and answers client questions: if answer is not known, follows up to get information to client in a timely mannerSupport to end users during the whole lifecycle of implementation projects but mainly at the most critical phases of the project like CRP, UAT and Go-Live phase, could be on site.May provide direction to others in at least one application or subject areaInternalOperates under broad direction from clients or QAD Project Managers to determine the tasks, steps and timing necessary to accomplish the objective.Ultimate goal for consultants is to work independently and require little support.Proactively participates in meetings and discussions and offers advice and guidance.Identifies potential issues and risks and communicates to supervisor with suggested paths for resolutionEnsure project documentation is stored in internal QAD project repositoriesParticipates in one virtual team or workgroup and creates work aids and other knowledge capital.Submits time and expenses weekly as scheduled, and regular status reportsTypically complete 2 weeks of training per yearOther duties as reasonably required of this role or requested by managementWorking with a proven implementation methodology and toolsQualificationsBachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Inventory Management, SupplyChain Management, Procurement or related disciplineCertification in APICS or QAD Products is added valueQAD Application Knowledge, especially in the Supply Chain, Customer Management,Scheduling & Planning, Analytics to support operational KPIsMore than 3 years experience in operations and logistics, inventory and distributionimplementations and business consulting with top tier (>$1B revenue) global customers would be preferable.MES applications or data collection experience is welcomedPossess strong business process practice, both the body of knowledge and hands-onexperience, with proven track records in leading and managing large projectimplementations.Well versed in developing and/or improving the business process and systems.Highly strategic decision making: problem analysis, systematic thinking.Good knowledge in ERP software solutions, business acumen, consulting skills,customer management, good organization and task facilitatorGood in presentation and communication skills to be able to interact, guide, andconvince customers about the best possible solution to be implemented.Proficient in spoken and written English, any additional second language would be of advantageGood at time management for working on global projects with time zone differences.Open to travel up to 1 week per month and flexible to work as per customer time zoneAdditional InformationYour health and well being are important to us at QAD.
