Therefore, being a NEXTER means that your career and talent become meaningful to you and those around you, allowing you to build what matters most to you and reach your next level.As part of the Data Center and Infrastructure Support team, the consultant will be responsible to provide on-site technical support to the operations and infrastructure hardware of the Data Centre of one of the largest international organisations in Valencia (Spain).📌 Key Responsibilities:Support the Data center and physical installation, management, maintenance of ICT cabling Infrastructure inside the Data Center mainly in the areas of physical cabling (power and data) and DC facilities.Perform physical installation and de-installation of equipment, management, and maintenance of cabling plant both fibre and copper, racks, PDUs; perform standard maintenance tasks and work instructions as per documented procedures.Contribute to support activities, equipment deliveries and inventory, receive and inspection with vendors as required including escorting visits to the Data CenterParticipate in the installation and configuration of server hardware and solutions using the standard configuration and template as well as the resolution (incident and problem) of infrastructure related issues and requests.Management, Maintenance, and support of Compute infrastructure Systems including monitoring of server technologies such as HP blades, Dell systems, related IO modules and enclosures.Maintenance of firmware, perform troubleshooting of server hardware enclosures, components, and modules.💡 Skills:At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector, including experience in Data Center operations and hardware support.Demonstrated knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Operations and strong understanding of underlying DC components such as HVAC, racks, connectivity, power and structured cabling system with good knowledge of Data Center cables and cabling techniques.Working knowledge of Data Center hardware (i.e. servers and components, appliances) with proven hands-on experience on (HPE, Dell, etc), server technologies (HPE c7000) and standalone servers.
