•	Basic Engineering for ElectroGas Malta. Feasibility study Tie-in Point for Desuperheater in the Boil-off Gas line. Steady state simulation (ASPEN HYSYS), H&M Balance, heat loss analysis, line and control valve sizing and develop of P&IDs.
•	Detailed Engineering for REPSOL Cartagena. Preparation of different projects to improve the refinery, providing support from the process knowledge. 
•	EPCm in Derivados Químicos (Pharmaceutical Plant, Murcia SP):
o	Removal of Gaseous Pollutants from Effluent Streams. Basic and Detail Engineering for the new process: Steady state simulation (ASPEN Plus), develop P&IDs, sizing heat exchangers (EDR), lines, pumps, control valves, absorption column and process vessel. 
o	Troubleshoot and design in facility’s improvement projects: optimization in steam distribution system (condensate recovery up to 35% and increase the efficiency of use of steam up to 43%), management and support maintenance and repair some reactors, increase up to15% efficiency the cold system, among other small projects. 
•	Revamping and Blanketing Storage of Biofuel facilities. Perform of P&IDs, design of storage tank (API 620, 650 and 2000), piping, tracing, pumps, PSVs, PVVs, RD and control valves sizing. Heat loss study in order to improve energy efficiency. Definition of the control and safety logic.
•	ILBOC Plant PMC. Assistance for different investments in the plant located in Cartagena for:
o	Definition of the scope of detailed engineering and perform Basic Engineering: update P&IDs, Sizing of new pumps, Steady state simulations, pipes, control valves, heat exchangers, PSV, Rupture Disks, strainers and G-L separators.
o	Review Detailed Engineering (Process, Mechanical and, I&C deliveries) handed-over.

Throughout this time, my activities had focused on improving manufacture which is summarized on:
•	Responsible for ensuring the safety, quality and productivity of the processes of powders, nitroglycerin and nitrocellulose manufacturing:
•	Standardization of powder processes by means of SOP, Data sheets and elaboration of diagrams (P&ID, PFD and hydraulic and pneumatic diagram).
•	Elaborate the Manufacturing Process Handbook for the process of powder and nitrocellulose manufacturing (Prepare Steady state simulation in some unit process, ASPEN Plus). 
•	Leadership in Safety. Updating SOP and cooperating as PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) Leader in HAZOP/What If/FMEA tools to evaluate the power and nitroglycerin processes. 
•	Analyze the efficiency of the powders facilities, Overall Equipment Efficiency.
•	Innovation. Participation in different projects related to propellants, lean manufacturing (5s, VSM, KAIZEN, etc). 
•	Design of Experiments (Complete designs applying DMAIC methodology) to solve quality issues by monitoring and control through statistical analysis. 
•	Collaboration in improvement and new projects in facilities where it proposed different alternatives with techno-economic analysis and the basic documentation of the process:
o	Optimization of the solvent distillation plant, by means of process simulation it was achieved an increase of the recuperation of diethyl ether and ethanol, as well as reduce the utilities. The project included the design of a new heat exchanger and a pump.
o	Reduce the 50% steam consumption in lamination facility through thermal and hydraulic analysis, work out the optimal thickness of insulation and piping equilibrium (estimation the optimal diameter to know the pressure drop in each distribution).
o	Saponification Project it updated the manual hydrolysis alkaline process to automatic process, it was elaborated the process description, P&IDs, equipment list, define control logic and designing reactor, piping, valve control system and PHA. 
o	Powder Lamination Project, it was designed of the new mixer (ribbon blender, power and blending time), the layout and PHA. 
o	Evaluated the refrigeration loop and the operation conditions to reduce by 5% the electrical energy consumption. 
•	Start-up, commissioning and perform acceptance testing of new industrial equipment and processes. 
•	Development and control of equipment preventive maintenance plan (TPM). 
•	Support to manufacturing, quality and safety using Problem Solving methodology.

Tras finalizar el grado en Ingeniería Química en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, busqué un Master que cumpliera mis expectativas para terminar de conformar mi formación básica como Ingeniero Química y me permitiera especializarme como Ingeniero de Procesos.
