TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER. M&E ENGINEER. HVAC

ADYD Group is looking for an entrepreneurial and sales-oriented Technical Support Engineer and it could be you! We offer you the next step in your career!This is a remote position to be located near major city in Western Europe close to a major airport with access to international flights to the UK, the EU, and North America. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise to mechanical and electrical (M&E) consulting firms, general contractors (GCs), M&E subcontractors and clients, primarily in the area of data centers. It would be necessary for the candidate to spend at least 50% of the time in the EU. Responsibilities Be a technical resource and lead product applications / project implementation for at customer site.Provide post sales technical support for installed systems.Act as subject matter expert to assist regional sales to develop solutions for complex applications.Conduct routine technical product presentation/demonstration at lunch and learn sessions with channel partners and customers.Technical training in the field with channel partners, consultants, Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors, and end users.Coordinate pre-sale support with sales managers, representatives and distributors.Prepare technical response to RFP/RFI and assist sales managers with project submittals.Collaborate with technical support team to provide customer support.Work across functional teams including engineering, field/tech support and operations on continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in tradeshows and other marketing initiative with focus to raise product awareness and increase sales.Attend training sessions in the USA.Provide feedback on customer engagements, and the market to management and regional sales team.Strong project management skills and understanding construction schedules, terms, and construction sites.Attend meetings and offer oversight to installation and commissioning partners on construction sites.Provide timely field reports of customer engagements and projects delivered to end customers in English.Assist with the translation and the preparation of sales collateral, specification sheets, documentation, and presentations for engagements with end customers, OEMs, channel partners, and engineering firms.Strong presentation skills in English and SpanishResponsible to update CRM tool information.Requirements5 – 10 years experience.Degree in technical fieldsHighly proficient computer skills required which includes BIM software, experience with AutoCAD, and take-off tools such as Bluebeam and Adobe, etc.Ability to travel at least 50% of the time in the EU.A very strong knowledge of data centers’ requirements, building automation tools, building management systems (BMSs), mission critical facilities, HVAC systems, immersion cooling solutions, fuel systems or fire suppression systems experience highly desirable.Multilingual required - English fluent or highly proficient and mother tongue Spanish. French and German are most valued. Other languages of interest include Italian and a Nordic language.What are you looking for?
