Job Summary ： The Distribution Team Leader acts as a working leader focusing efforts on operational excellence, training, communication, and various other activities within the warehouse.
Responsibilities.
The Distribution Team Leader is responsible for coordinating work assignments and facilitating safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and training accomplishments of their assigned team.
Employees in this role are responsible for contributing directly to the work being done on their team while modeling servant leadership and developing team members.
Qualifications.
Prior Team Leader or supervisory experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of computers, Oracle, WMS and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer) strongly preferred Previous experience operating a clamp truck preferred Knowledge and application of Lean principles preferred Must have HS Diploma or GED Must have valid driver license Must be able to pass a forklift operator certification course within 30 days Must have good written and oral interpersonal communication skills Team focused and cooperative across teams and shifts Must be able to demonstrate sustained exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability Must display initiative and creativity in problem solving Must be able to train others Must be able to promote continuous improvement in products, services, and processes Able to work overtime and weekends as needed This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
