SPECIALIST ENGINEER LEAD

The scope of this role is to deliver network and application side services for the maintenance of the PPE lab in Malaga.
This engineer will be the SPoC for on-site activities for PPE lab infrastructure in Malaga and it will input the design team on technical feasibility, high and low level design in Networking platforms installed in that lab to serve PPE labs function cross functionally.
The lab design supporting team is already located in other countries, this role will be supporting an extension the PPE lab footprint in Malaga.
The role has the following responsabilities.
Carryout hardware installation, staging and maintenance of network, computing and storage devices from multiple vendors.
Assembling, installing, and maintaining cabling to the documented standards.
Regular visual inspection of devices in lab and fix issue co-ordinating with the extended lab team/vendors.
Contribute to the operation processes for maintenance of lab to provide premium labs services to the stakeholders keeping inventory up to date.
Provide on site support for the installation, patching of equipment, configuration activities required post install, moves and changes required within the lab, testing activities, etc.
Update of all documentation associated to Lab Site Survey, hardware inventories and all related documentation with onsite processes.
What you bring?   Networking design and delivery in lab environments - (TCP/IP, subnets, QoS, routing, VLANs, IPsec tunnels, regions/VPCs/sub-nets and security, Windows Servers).
Experience with NetDevOps tools such as GIT, Ansible, Puppet, Docker and network programmability (NETCONF, YANG) or other automation and CI/CD frameworks.
Fluent and Effective communication skills in English both in technical detail to fellow engineers and also to summarise at a high-level and put into business/financial context for less technical senior managers.
Vendor or technical qualifications  certifications in automation, security, cloud computing, networds, containers,...
