SOLUTION SECURITY ARCHITECT

Solution Security Architect   Location.
HYBRID Role Purpose The Solution Security Architecture team is responsible for developing Security Technology Roadmaps, Target Architectures, Technical Guidance, High Level Designs, Design Patterns and are experts in the security products and solutions we use.
The successful candidate will have experience in some or all of these areas as well as an awareness of Security Frameworks and concepts.
Upon joining us they will have opportunity to deliver technology security input to major programmes to ensure security is built into designs, develop security controls to counter emerging threats with evolving technology and will influence the security strategy.
This is a Group level role that has the opportunity to impact and influence across Vodafone global central platforms and throughout our Local Markets.
They will have opportunity to interact with all levels of the business across Leadership and Engineering.
They will work with and support Senior Architects across both Security and the wider business.

Communication – As an architect you will have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
With the ability to explain ‘Why’ and ‘What’ to stakeholders at multiple levels and adapting style and content as required.
Solutioneer – You will be keen to find solutions to problems, working through ambiguity, breaking down these down into workable steps to detail out in the roadmap.
Searching out pragmatic solutions that are a good fit across the business, not just in isolated use cases.
Systems View – Whilst being a technical expert who is rightfully excited and curious about technological solutions you should have a wide enough view and realisation that people are at the centre of all technology – be that Customers, Employees or Partners.
Adaptable – From time to time you will be required to use your breadth of skill, expertise and experience in order to support operational and business challenges.
You will be expected to use this in order to assist with clear and rapid analysis of issues and propose solutions to them.
Who you are We will welcome applications that have experience in any of the below areas, Problem solving skills, Strong analysis skills, Technical Leadership Desire to speak with candidates with VMware(VCTA-SEC or VCP-SEC) and Linux Security CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA Knowledge of sec standards – NCSC, ISO, NIST, CIS, OWASP Top 10 Network, Data Centre, Cloud, Security Operations, Infosec SAFe(Scaled Agile) Agile (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architect), Process Improvement, Technical Authoring   What's in it for you Discretionary yearly bonus.
