RESEARCHER IN MATHEMATICAL OPTIMIZATION FOR MOBILITY AND LOGISTICS

Today we have a large amount of mobility data, coming from traditional data sources, but also from new data sources enabled by vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) connectivity, telephony data, data from image analysis, etc. All these data enable a host of technological challenges, from the way they are captured, synchronized and preprocessed to new methods of mobility modeling and scenario simulation. All this, together with the advancement of Artificial Intelligence, gives rise to new tools that enable the detection and prediction of events, as well as an optimization in mobility planning as a whole.Within the department of Intelligent Systems for Mobility and Logistics of Vicomtech, we work developing advanced technologies for the analysis of large amounts of spatio-temporal data as well as optimization algorithms that allow planning both in advance and in real time.We are looking for a committed, proactive and passionate about applied mathematics person, who should have:Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Engineering with Master's degree in Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research or similar.
