What we’re looking for.
We’re looking for an experienced  QA Automation Engineer  with a background in developing interactive and customer-facing software.
The ideal candidate has a passion for coding, bringing new software to market, and keeping up with the latest in software development and technology.
You must be excited to find creative solutions to interesting coding challenges.
What you’ll do.
Work as an integral part of a Scrum team to sequence testing and deploy code to production.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Develop and execute automated and manual tests against business requirements and verify applications.
Analyze test results, identify bugs or issues, communicate them to team, and assist in tracking down their cause.
Maximize automation test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Analyze and enhance the efficiency of automation tests.
Continuously work on improving the automation efficiency and process improvements.
Effectively communicate findings, blockers and statues with the team and leadership.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
What you’ll need.
2-4 years of test automation experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript or typescript programming language.
Experience with writing automation tests using any one of the following frameworks.
WebDriver IO, Cypress, Playwright.
Experience in Jenkins/GitHub Action OR any CI/CD.
Experience in running tests in cloud platforms like browser stack or sauce labs.
Familiarity with version control, project management, and test management tools (GIT, Jira, AIO).
Familiarity with Datadog monitoring.
Strong communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
Nice to have/opportunity to learn (depending on the team).
Familiarity with AWS services.
Experience in shell commands and logging tools like Splunk or scalyr.
Who you are.
Education qualification as graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering is required.
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communications skills interacting with technical and business audience’s.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new technologies/ideas and master concepts rapidly.
