Our clients include the most successful hedge funds, banks, and asset managers in the world! RavenPack is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join the People team in Marbella (Málaga, Spain).
The position will report directly to the People Operations Manager.
We are looking for a proactive, passionate and yet very responsible and rigorous person who wants to learn and develop in this challenging environment.
The ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both in writing and verbally is a must.
European Union’s legal working status is required.
Requirements Degree in Labor Sciences and Human Resources/Business Administration/Economics or similar.
Entry-level opportunity where enthusiasm is valued over experience.
Advanced computer user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint...).
High-quality service to internal customers Problem-solving, initiative, work quickly and attention to detail without errors Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material Fluent English and Spanish is a must Responsibilities Prepare employment contracts, consultant agreements, employee certificates, etc.
Manage and maintain personnel files and other employee information such as hires, promotions, transfers and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Basic Payroll Support.
Aid in updating payroll records with guidance, including changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, and deductions.
Monitor holidays, sickness leaves, work-related accidents, family leaves, unpaid leaves, etc.
Keep up to date with legislative changes and statutory regulations.
Support the People team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
