HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER.
Join our office in Valencia! Together with two colleagues based in Amsterdam, you manage the payroll coordination for the G-STAR entities worldwide.
The payroll team is part of the HR department, a fun and diverse team with various nationalities and personalities.
Together, we ensure that the G-STAR employees receive their salary payments in a correct and timely manner, and we offer them the best HR services.
In your role as a Payroll Specialist, you will mainly focus on managing the payrolls for Spain, the DACH region and Japan.
Next to that, you will support your payroll colleagues who work on the payrolls for other countries and you are their back-up during absence.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant monthly payroll output for our entities in Spain, DACH, and Japan, executed by external providers (ADP, Rosclar).
The countries for which you manage the payroll output may change over time Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Finance) and external parties to ensure seamless payroll processing Verify payroll-related invoices and ensure timely payments Monitor payroll processes and be proactive in identifying irregularities as well as improvements Stay updated on legislation related to payroll Manage payroll ledgers through monthly reconciliations, checks and accruals to balance financial data Oversee annual processes such as audits, providing necessary data to involved parties Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll related inquiries WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE.
At least one year of experience as an international payroll specialist Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical skills, fact-based and numbers-driven Hands-on and solution-oriented approach minded, with a commitment to get the job done Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proactive with a strong eagerness to develop and learn WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE.
