We are actively looking for top talent to join the Middle Office Risk Management Team.
The team is involved in analyzing, managing, and preventing operational risks associated with the activities of CEPSA Trading, based on a deep understanding of the business, processes, and implemented procedures.
You´ll help us drive this exciting agenda by handling some of the largest market risks the company is exposed to.
The responsibilities we´ll trust you with     You'll monitor operational risk for CEPSA Trading's business, following established procedures.
You'll manage the Trading Operational Risk (TOR) software application to identify events.
You'll analyze causes and evaluate controls, taking immediate and/or preventive actions.
You'll generate reports for management and relevant departments.
You'll assess potential operational risks during significant changes in the IT and/or process environment.
You'll advocate for mitigation measures, advising on their definition, and monitoring their implementation.
You'll enhance CEPSA Trading's risk management framework, identifying methodologies and solutions for continuous process and metric improvement.
You'll promote a culture of operational risk awareness.
What are we looking for?     We are looking for someone who is motivated and achieves results, has good interpersonal skills, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Basic Qualifications   Ideally at least 5 years’ experience in financial positions, applying Trading risk and financial management, process and controls principles.
Numerated-background bachelor’s degree, e.

Math, Science, Finance or Economics.
Ability to understand impact of changing risk environment on trading business and financial reporting.
MS Excel proficiency user and Power Bi, Tableau or similar.
Experience with risk analysis, value-at-risk, financial derivatives, or physical energy markets.
Proficient in process mapping and control identification.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
