MANAGING EXECUTIVE VODACOM BUSINESS UNIT

Role purpose Defines and ensures implementation of the Vodacom Business sales and customer strategy to ensure the deliveryof revenue and profitability across all industry practices.
Defining overall profitability, execution of strategy anddefinition of the action plan to achieve the overall targets.

Lead the Sales Organisation and build a high performing diverse organisation 2.
Deliver superior customer experience to Global (VGE) and Local Customers and drive CXX end2end incl.
uild & Run 3.
Extend Vodacom’s leadership with Multi National and Large Enterprise Customers and accelerate profitablegrowth 4.
Identify and support future growth opportunities, incl.
grow total communications product mix and innovations Key accountabilities and decision ownership • Lead the VB sales team which sells products & services to multinational and local enterprise customers, withthe relevant revenue & margin targets to be achieved.
• Sets annual targets for the Sales Organisation according to agreed business plan.
• Accountable for profitability and the delivery of this margin.
Sell to bill and collect • Channel Development and Sales Revenue Growth.
To focus on increasing net sales revenue within eachindustry practice • Improve the NPS for Vodacom Business Enterprise Customers.
• Ensure customer solutions are fit for purpose.
Grow the portfolio of Enterprise customers and product salesthrough a best-in-class go-to-market approach through new solutions, financial models and ways of working byleveraging technologies from Lines of Business i.
IoT, Cloud and other offerings.
• Sell to bill and collect • Performing through People.
Supports and enables the team to succeed.
• Managing Stakeholders.
Strategic management of stakeholders to achieve success in the market.
Buildscollaborative partnerships and alliances for market success.
Key performance indicators • Annual business plan for the Industry Practices based on agreed strategy • Achieve Portfolio Commercial Goals (Target revenue, new business & resign TCV, margin, EBIT & Opex) • Deliver Services Vertical Profit and Loss Sales Plan • Net Promoters Score (NPS) Core competencies, knowledge and experience..
• Strategic mind set and out of box thinking • Experience in solution selling within enterprise customers • Deep understanding of the customer’s business, it’s market and industry alongside key decision-makers and influencers in account organization • Ability to translate customer’s objectives and strategy into relevant Vodacom Business propositions • Robust understanding of account P&L • Experience working in multinational matrix organization • Successful track record of managing multi- industry sales teams and demonstrate profitable revenue growth • Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales program • 12 to 15 years’ experience in the telecommunications or technology related environments with demonstrated experience in.
• Large scale customer operations • Portfolio management • Ability to increase NPS results and reduce administrative expense • Ability to build relationships and drive best in class process innovation • General management skills – particularly finance; marketing and HR Must have technical / professional qualifications • B Degree/Equivalent • Postgraduate qualifications/MBA (Desirable) • years’ experience in the ICT environment • 5 years Senior Executive in a complex commercial landscape.
