MANAGER BILLING INTEGRITY AND TECHNOLOGY

Role purpose To define implementation strategy within the Billing Integrity and Technology Assurance area from the business overall strategy Key Responsibilities Operational •To supervise the day to day operational tasks relative to the Billing Integrity and Technology Assurance area.
Billing Data (KPIs, KGS, Tariffs…) Integrity and quality daily assurance, Billing Transactions (Recharges, bundles allocations, service provisioning…) Integrity and Quality daily assurance, Subscribers Databases Integrity and Daily synchronization assurance (regen), Vodacom Products conformity charging assurance, Quality testing assurance of Vodacom Products, second level support of customers calls relative to BIT, SIM BOX detection and fighting assurance… •To ensure on monthly basis and for new tariffs deployment/Change that all the Vodacom tariffs are in conformity with duly approved Vodacom Tariff Documents.
Set up automated recon tools and alerts.
•To manage all billing activities integrity assurance for all revenue streams including the month-end activities that lead to Financial reporting and invoices production weekly quality assurance •To ensure 2nd Support for all customer’s queries logged from Customer Care and Sales relative to prepaid, GSM contract, PABX, VOIP and fixed products billing queries •To ensure billing processes and transactions integrity check assurance controls are daily automated and gaps identified and timely resolved  •To manage all projects related to the area  •To manage and champion all the processes, reporting, audit, policy and procedures relative to Billing IT Department •To ensure the quality monitoring of the Billing Functions •To manage Suppliers, SLAs and Contracts •To manage OPEX and CAPEX in area of responsibility •To ensure customers BIT issues related (from COPS, Region and Sales) are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Project/New Product development •To direct the requirements development for applying technology to satisfy business needs.
•To develop new requirements and transform them into new solution design and implementation.
•To interface with staff developing strategy as technical advisor for new functionality relative to Billing Integrity and Technology Assurance area.
•To interface with vendor partners and design optimal solutions for integration with BIT new applications.
•To create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements  •To implement business process requirements and strategic initiatives at Billing Integrity and Technology Assurance level •To interface with PSO and NPD departments for all new product/project that require involvement of Billing Integrity and Technology Assurance involvement   Key accountabilities and decision ownership •New products, tariffs and services accurately and timely implementation at the first time by assuring appropriate testing and Integrity recons •Customers BIT issues related are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
•Bill runs, Post-paid invoices and Month-ends timely and accurately produced •Daily integrity assurance of various billing subscriber’s databases  •Daily integrity assurance of various billing subscribers Transactions   Core competencies, knowledge and experience •Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, mathematic or related field.
•3-5 years professional experience in data analysis, billing or similar role •Exceptional Analytical and Conceptual Thinking •Excellent with Planning, organizational and time management •Vodacom business and billing processes, policies and procedures •Understanding of IT Financial Universe Qualifications.
