LOGISTICS AND INVENTORY MANAGER

Por qué te necesitamos? In alignment with company vision, mission, values, and objectives, the Logistics and inventory Manager is responsible for the warehousing, inventory, and distribution functions to provide service levels that meets or exceeds customer expectations at the lowest possible costs.
This position supports a collaborative team environment; carries out the accountabilities via the teams and coordinators.
Works closely with the entire Supply Chain Team - Logistics, Project Managers, Planning, Vendors and Customers - to optimize results.
In addition, manages all Shipping and Receiving functions and Cycle Count teams.
Duties/Responsibilities.
Ensures safe environment in warehouse to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
Responsible for ensuring warehouse personnel are trained in the safe and efficient performance of their duties.
Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized through the implementation of 5S.
Flexibility to adjust department operations as required to meet requirements and dynamic business conditions.
Assists in the analysis of customer Freight complaints and develop recommendations for corrective action.
Responsible for raw material and finished goods cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
Also coordinates and manages annual physical inventory.
Manages warehouse layout and material handling practices to assure efficient use of space and on-time, and damage free storage and delivery.
Performs all necessary SAP transactions in the EWM process pertaining to Shipping and Receiving and audits the SAP transactions of employees on a daily basis to ensure orders ship on time, are invoiced properly, and inventory is accurate.
Coordinates with Purchasing all inbound and vendor to vendor shipments.
Monitors all outbound daily shipments while optimizing freight costs.
Ensures all employees are following plant quality procedures Directly supervises the Receiving and Shipping Leads, Cycle count lead and Freight Coordinator Additional Duties as assigned.
Leading Safety tool box meetings.
Leading daily production team meeting with all departments.
Review all employee clock in/out times daily for accuracy.
Working closely with the Purchasing, Planning/Scheduling, and Project Management to ensure all expectations are met in a timely manner.
Coordinate and initiate team Continuous Improvement projects as required.
