With operations spanning 30 countries and a commercial footprint in over 100 territories through distributors, its global presence is formidable.Role Overview:On behalf of our client, we are seeking a "Head of Market Access and Health Innovation Access" for Europe as a director-level position.Responsibilities:Develop and implement the market access strategy for new or novel biomarkers, methods and technologiesIdentify payer environment trends and use those insights to develop the market access and payer value communication strategies, including the monetization of digital solutions with the healthcare systems and the expansion of the use of existing biomarkers into selected new clinical applicationsDesign and implement local HEOR (Health Economics/Outcomes Research) to generate evidence of premium valueObjectives:Align market access, health economic and clinical expertise to drive the defined objectivesMap the market and stakeholders and establish institutional relationships with the relevant individualsHelp affiliates and Business Units to understand the different European healthcare systems and their funding/reimbursement methodsDevelop budget impact and cost effectiveness models and generate evidence including e.g. via real-world data and investigator initiated trialsSupport KOL management, development of expert meetings and congressesHelp affiliates navigate different reimbursement pathways and requirements including HTA, value dossiers, etc.Develop the clinical selling strategy and coordinate or lead the clinical specialists in the affiliatesProfile:Extensive experience in market access in the medtech context complemented by solid expertise in health economics and general understanding of clinical conceptsFamiliarity with European healthcare systems and funding/reimbursement models. You should bring a deep understanding of at least two countries and an established network of relevant stakeholdersExperience in innovating business and revenue models e.g. risk sharing, value based, outcomes based etc.The candidate is preferably based in close proximity to the European HQ, but candidates can also be located elsewhere with the EU. Travel approx. 50%
