Job Description Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, the GM will be in charge of the following functions.
Daily leadership of the whole resort, accommodation, restaurants and any other operations with hands on approach to optimize guest's experience.
One on one meetings with the management team to support them achieve their \"big rocks\" goals and follow their respective action plans.
Positive impact to the monthly P&L through effective decision making to achieve maximum cost control Lead and impact all labor decisions to control payroll through seasonality.
Support all commercial efforts to maximize Rooms, F&B, Outdoor services, miscellaneous and other revenue in the hotel.
Active local networking and involvement to further the brand's recognition locally.
Participate in all monthly and quarterly P&L reporting and budget presentation.
Actively attend all P&L monthly meetings with the brand and ownership.
The Successful Applicant BA in Hospitality, Tourism or Management is a must Master's degree in hospitality, communication, HR or leadership is a plus.
At least 10 years in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
Current position as a General Manager with strong background in vacation resorts (large operations and big teams management) Must have been in current position for at least 3 years but preferably over 5 years.
Must have worked at an international level.
Experience in different countries is very valuable.
Experience with luxury brands and different products such as all-inclusive.
Proven financial achievements in GM role.
Native or Bilingual in English.
Updated IT skills a must (must be able to respond to own emails and manage basic reporting and revenue tools) Knowledge of the Caribbean market is a must.
