FIREWALL & NETWORK SECURITY SPECIALIST

Therefore, being a NEXTER means that your career and talent become meaningful to you and those around you, allowing you to build what matters most to you and reach your next level.We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector.Key Responsibilities:• Firewall administration: policy implementation, regular cleanup, rules review and incident support.• Leverage firewall tools such as Tufin SecureTrack/SecureChange to automate and optimize clean-up and rules usage.• Administer Socks Proxies for specific internet access.• Evaluate infrastructure and application security to ensure compliance with security models.• Propose architectural or tooling improvements based on real use cases.• Support IT production teams with best security practices.• On-call duty (first level).• Participate in internal IT projects.• Stay up to date with security trends and technologies.Skills:Essential:• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall suites (manager and firewall).• Experience with Tufin SecureTrack/SecureChange.• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and security/compliance rules.• Solid technical background in IT security.• Knowledge of network threats and best security practices.• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure environments.• Certifications in security technologies are appreciated.• English level B2 or higher.Desirable:• Knowledge of Unix (e.g., Solaris) and Windows systems.• Experience with SecurID, ACE Server, HSM, WAF, IDS, IPS.• Scripting skills.Job Conditions & Benefits:• Permanent contract.• Work Mode: hybrid, with one day a week in the Madrid office (flexible schedule)• Competitive salary.• Remote work assistance.• Professional Development: Access to an annual budget dedicated to advancing your skills through professional certifications.Join our expert team, where creativity, commitment and the ability to bring new perspectives are essential to make a difference in a world full of opportunities.
