At Iberostar we are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our "Iberostar Rose Hall Beach & Spa Resort" team in Jamaica, but before knowing more about the position, we think it's important that you learn a little about us, Iberostar Group.

maybe this is your place!:) As Employee Relations Specialist, your main responsibilities will be.
-Leading the development and implementation of industrial relations policies, procedures, and practices that comply with Jamaica labour laws and organizational goals.
-Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including feedback mechanisms and improvement plans to enhance employee performance.
-Identifying and recommending improvements to industrial relations processes and practices to enhance overall employee relations.
-Preparing and presenting regular reports on industrial relations activities, issues, and resolutions to the HR Director.
-Maintaining accurate records of all industrial relations matters, including grievances, disputes, negotiations, and disciplinary actions.
-Building and maintaining strong working relationships with management and other employee representatives.
-Liaise with external agencies, including Ministry of Labour and legal advisors, as necessary to address industrial relations issues.
-Act as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, balancing the interests of all parties while maintaining the organization’s values and objectives.
-Mediating and resolving conflicts between employees, or between employees and management, to maintain a professional, cohesive and productive work environment.
-Participating in negotiating agreements representing the company’s interests while ensuring fair outcomes for employees.
-Provide guidance and advice to the Senior Management team on all employee related issues and practices.
-Any other duties, responsibilities and/ or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
What do we expect from you? Requisitos -Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
-Certification in Industrial Relations or related professional certification is an advantage.
-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, industrial relations or a related HR role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
-Proven experience in conflict resolution, negotiation and grievance handling.
-Proficiency in the use of Google Suite -Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
