DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST (UX/UI)

Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Data Visualization Specialist with a strong background in data analysis to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our BI tools, primarily Power BI.
This role requires a blend of UX design skills and data visualization expertise to enhance user experience and drive business insights.
Extensive experience is not mandatory, but a passion for UX and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Design and develop user-friendly interfaces and dashboards using Power BI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into intuitive design solutions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
Provide training and support to business users on how to interact with BI tools and interpret data visualizations.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve user experience and reporting capabilities.
Networking/Key relationships Internal.
Work closely with the IT department, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to gather requirements and deliver design solutions.
External.
Occasionally interact with external vendors or consultants for design enhancements and tool integration.
Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position.
Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Basic understanding of UX design principles and data visualization.
Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools.
Awareness of user experience (UX) principles and their application in data visualization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
