DATA AND OPERATIONS OFFICER

With over 100 schools in Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North America and Asia, we employ 15,000 teaching and support staff in the care and education of more than 75,000 students.We have an exciting position for a Data and Operations Officer located at our Hastings School in Madrid.You will be supporting the Operations and Administration Coordinator in the management and achievement of corporate objectives around the following three areas: 1) support with the secretarial and leadership team; 2) to ensure increasingly efficient use of data to assist the smooth running of the school;3) Administrative support in the operational tasks. These objectives will be achieved following the policies and standards established by the Group.Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Marksheets: generating marksheets at the start of the year, CAT4, FFT pupil estimates, generating termly overviews, making changes throughout the year. Student Data: generating attendance data, generating behaviour and achievement data, detentions. Support with reporting and follow-up of student data. Beginning of year class list (groupings) Maintaining and cleansing data base: Medical condition lookups, addresses, parental consents, etc. Annual promotions of students in GL assessment Exporting CAT4 data into SIMS marksheets Uploading termly reporting data Uploading External exam data Assisting in the writing of mock exams (internal exam) schedules Analyse student surveys Invoice and quote trackingCreating parent meetings, liaising with teachers and parents about the meetingsAbout YouYou must be able to speak Spanish and high level of EnglishThe ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team and be able to support the leadership team. You will have strong work ethic with the ability to build relationships with others. You should be a positive person who is able to work well under pressure and has an awareness of dealing with confidential information.You should have some prior experience within a secretarial or administrative role. Be highly confident in the use of common software in schools such as Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, etc). Ideally have an education background (although not essential) with experience of dealing with a range of issues.
