You are the link connecting the international melon market, our breeding programme and our global crop organization.
You work in close collaboration with colleagues all over the world and you play an important role in deciding on the launch of new varieties as well as in formulating the future product development strategy.
You maintain and intensify contact with customers and the market.
In addition, you visit trial fields to gain market information and product information and you identify opportunities that can lead to new product development activities.
Together with colleagues within your team, you advise the management on the future of melon within Rijk Zwaan.
Also you have Client Management responsabilities.
You are an important link between the customers and the crop organization.
You will have the opportunity to develop as a commercial role in direct contact with customers.
taking information, consulting, selling and monitoring of varieties, also building an extensive knowledge of the technical characteristics to give satisfactory answers both agronomic and commercial to our customers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Crop Specialist that will lead key accounts management and projects execution at the country level.
The Crop specialist will also interact internationally with a broader team of crop specialists to develop market solutions under the crop strategy.
