We are currently seeking a Tax and Account Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for a qualified and motivated professional with strong experience in accounting and auditing to join our growing team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence and continuous development.
What will my responsibilities be?
Coordinate and supervise the accounting of financial transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.
Review and validate bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and provisions.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Prepare and analyze financial statements.
Plan and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
Serve as the point of contact with external auditors during financial audits.
Implement recommendations arising from external audits.
Prepare financial and accounting reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Candidate Profile – Key Requirements:
Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing
Previous experience as an auditor will be highly valued
Availability and ability to work full-time from our office in Barcelona
