Chapter Four in an international bar, based in Leuven, Belgium I worked in for nine months. 
My duties included serving customers and maintaining a clean and safe work environment for staff and guests. I was entrusted with the keys to the bar and in charge of opening the bar in the morning and making sure everything was set up and ready for the day. I was also responsible for closing down the bar in the evening, counting the tills and making sure the bar was clean and tidy for the next shift. As leader of the shifts, I understand that working well in a team is paramount to success. 

Here in Melbourne, Australia, I worked in a very fast paced Vietnamese restaurant, in the biggest shopping mall in the souther hemisphere, so the turn over of customers was extremely high, dashing in for a quick meal between shopping.
My roles here included, handling money, interacting with many international customers, serving food and drinks, and making sure that the restaurant was clean and presentable for new customers coming in. I was also in charge of arriving early in the morning and making sure that everything was set up and ready for the day ahead.

Here I worked and outdoor, physical job, the position posed a wide variety of jobs, including; cutting hedges, laying turf, laying patios, building structural forms and meeting with customers to discuss their demands.
We were a two man team so we had to make sure we could rely on one another to be efficient in what we were doing, so that the job ran smoothly and without mistakes. We took on many big jobs and had to work to strict deadlines, so I know what it is to work under pressure, in a hot, outdoor work space.
I worked here part-time and full-time for many years since I was 16 upwards. 

Here I was involved in new scheme to encourage young students to undertake a diploma in ICT, among the first students in the school to take this course, to my knowledge the scheme is still running, showing our success in the course. 
I received a B grade in this subject.
