Leading the construction activities for civil, mechanical, steel structure, piping, electrical & instrumentation disciplines for Area 2 (One of the four areas the project was divided for construction purposes) which includes the following plants: Hydrocracker Unit (HCU), Diesel Hydrodesulphurization Unit (DHU) and Hydrogen Production Unit (HPU/PSA). In charge of works direction, supervision and control of subcontractors’ operations to comply with TR´s design and owner’s standards. Internal communication with project’s participants to guarantee 100% understanding of goals, construction strategies and processes. Previously, and as first assignment at site, I successfully completed the installation and site casting of joints for 21 precast piperacks for a total of 582 columns (up to 22m long) and 3691 beams.

MAIN JOB:
DUQM REFINERY PROJECT (EPC1). Duqm. DRP. Sultanate of Oman. February 2019 - August 2020. 
Currently, completion of the Refinery construction is the main target of the Joint Venture between Oman Oil Company (OOC) and Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI). Once concluded the refinery will be able to process 230.000 BPD of crude.

INTEGRATED GAS DEVELOPMENT EXPANSION - IGD-E (Phase 1 – Package 3) ONSHORE PIPELINE & HABSHAN MODIFICATIONS. Abu Dhabi. ADNOC GAS PROCESSING. United Arab Emirates. November 2017 - November 2018. 
The first phase of the IGD-E project increased ADNOC’s offshore gas processing capacity from 400mmcfd to 1.4 bcfd. The IGD-E Package 3 involved the expansion of gas processing facilities of Habshan 5 / Habshan Complex Plants and the construction of pipelines at UAE.

Responsible for the activities of civil and electromechanical construction for Forth Hills Project Cogeneration Plant. I had construction superintendents and supervisors for monitoring of several construction disciplines (civil, piping, electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications, etc.). Also for the preparation of reports, letters to Client, Subcontractors and suppliers.

COGEN is the construction of a Cogeneration Power Plant which consists of two trains of Gas Turbine Generator and Heat Recovery Steam Generators and all necessary facilities to produce 80 MV of electricity and 1,100Tons/Hr of steam (Avg.). The scope of work includes the civil works (including piling works), building construction, installation of equipment, modules, structures, main equipment (2 Gas turbine generators and 2 HRSG), accessory equipment and skids, electricity and instrumentation works, control and communication, precommissioning and assistance to the Client for commissioning and start up or the whole plant.

Responsible for the activities of civil and electromechanical construction for 8 clusters and one gas receiving/transfer station. This includes the management of construction supervisors for several disciplines (disciplines of civil, piping, electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications, etc.). Coordination with leaders from all disciplines and other departments operating in the site to ensure that all team members understand the objectives and goals in the short and medium term. During the early stage of the construction phase, I performed the coordination and supporting of construction for temporary facilities (Accommodation for staff, Site Offices, Workshop, warehouse, etc.), geotechnical investigation, land permits, etc. Assistance to the Site Manager during communication with other entities involved in the project. Also for the preparation of reports, letters to Client, Subcontractors and suppliers.

Shah Gas Gathering Project (SGGP). Shah Oilfield. Al Hosn Gas. Abu Dhabi (UAE) 
SGGP is the Package No.1 of the Shah Gas Development Program (SGDP1) and consists of the construction of all necessary facilities to collect gas with high H2S content (23%) in 8 clusters and send it, through a transfer station, to a Gas Processing Plant (by others). The scope of work includes the construction / installation of equipment (Including 8 flares, 8 Knock Out Drums, 12 pig launchers (Scrapers), rotating equipment, 20 control panels for wells (Well Head control panels), prefabrication, assembly and testing of piping and flowlines from the wells to the clusters, installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC), etc.

Coordination of inter-disciplinary activities and interfaces with other project participants, especially coordination with departments of HSE, QA/QC, planning, and subcontract administration. In charge of Supervision and control of subcontractors’ operations so that they comply with the company design and owner’s standards. Monitor productivity of subcontractor and manufacturers (Site and workshops), procurement and construction performance. As a part of regular activities I had to develop and keep effective communication channels with the client as well as subcontractors and other involved parties in order to improve the understanding and fulfilling of short, medium and long term targets. I was fully involved on the execution and closure of punch lists, improvement works and performance items which led us to the final project closure. I was proposed by my superiors to cover the post of Site Manager during the last stage of the project with the acceptance of the owner (Since August 2009 until March2011).
