Gerente de construccion

Purpose / Role:
•	Assigned activities and scope of work is carried out without any significant HSE incidents.

•	AMEC reputation is enhanced by demonstrating commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements to enhance HSE performance throughout KOC.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
•	Supervision and Inspection of Main Substation Building, Maintenance Building, Control Building, Security Guard House, Standby Generator Building, Crude Pump House, TV Gas Compressor Station, and Security Equipment Building,

•	Maintain a good working relationship with the clients and sub-contractors engineering representatives 

•	Responsible for site engineering activities and providing technical assistance to the construction supervision team 

•	Primary contact with the project office to insure site is in receipt of latest drawing , specifications and information 

•	Assist in the resolution of technical queries arising on site 

•	Supervises vendor representatives site unite for check out /pre-commissioning of equipment and any other special testing  or maintenance requirement s

•	Fully familiar with the drawings ,specifications and engineering procedures of the project 

•	Assist in the review and approval of sub-contractors method statement 

•	Approval of final “as built “drawings

•	 To read, understand and implement the company safety policy and the arrangements described in the company and area safety management documents  

•	Review project studies & proposals for Constructability and/or Construction Hazard Identification.

•	EPC for Start-up of New LPG Plant” – RPLC – EW-01.1 Deep Conversion, EW-01.1.
Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Works and Instrumentation for Extension of RESOR Water Injection Capacity", Package I, Civil Works (Earth work). 
•	Extension of Crude Oil Storage Capacity in Jusepin Plant, Package I, Earth work and Construction of Dikes. Platform Conditioning (Earth work and Civil Works).
•	Construction of Fire Fighting System – Tank Yard _ JUSEPIN, Package “A”, Earth work and Civil Works (Earth work).

Functions:
Analyze contracts and programming, including execution program.
Set forth organization with which program will be fulfilled. List daily activities to be performed by supervisors and foremen, in accordance with work program. Assure that personnel have resources necessary for work development (materials and consumables), considering contingencies. Control activities to assure fulfillment of execution plan, including system and quality requirements. Coordinate, jointly with supervisors and foremen, execution of field activities. Verify control of hours worked by personnel. Guide and supervise personnel in order to assure compliance of safety standards. Direct work group in order to achieve production goals. Attend meetings arranged by Clients. Detect any activity outside work scope and give notice in order to coordinate procedure necessary for scope change. Participate in analysis of situations and taking decisions related to contract. Participate in actions required to maintain work coordination and programming. Verify reports on stages carried out by crews.

PROJECTS:
•	Construction, Pavement and Drainage Works for Aragua de Barcelona – Zaraza Road Section, Guárico State.
•	
Various: Construction of Platforms (Locations) and Access Roads. Nuevo Limon – El Furrial Field, PDVSA – GAS, North District. Earth work, Road Asphalting Works and Concrete Works (Sewerage, Drainage and Headers). Construction of Metallic Bridge and Road in Pozo Amarillo – Orocual Community. Construction of Sewerage, Headers and Water Circulation System.

•	Extension of Crude Oil Storage Capacity in RESOR Plant – Jusepin, Monagas State. Earth Work and Concrete Works.

Functions:
Project Cost: US$11MM and $8MM, respectively, Coordination of execution activities; Elaboration of valuations; Coordination, Execution and Management of 58 direct workers and 22 indirect workers; Direction and estimation of execution periods for activities; Creation of Technical Reports. 

PROJECTS:
Construction of Electrical Transmission Line in 13.8kV, in a 25Km Section of Simple Circuit Line of US$12MM for PDVSA.

Functions:
Project with 150,000 direct Man-Hours, stringing three conductors and shield wire, excavation and installation of 15m height-steel towers, assembly of ironwork, fittings and transformer banks to feed Recollecting Stations of Santa Rosa Field in the city of Anaco, Anzoategui State. Responsible of managing 125 direct workers and 30 indirect workers, subcontractors for construction of cyclone and steel grill type fences, deforestation, assembly and connection of 13.80kv Electrical Line; Automation of Stations (Electricity and Instrumentation), Project Planning and Control, personnel recruitment and discharge, equipment repairs, conversations with unions, project coordination and execution.

PROJECTS:
•	Construction of Foundations of the New Sour Water Stripper Feed Tank – Operadora Cerro Negro.
•	
•	Upgrade to the New Effluent System of FERTINITRO Plant. Criogénico de José, Edo Anzoátegui.
•	
•	Installation of the New Drinking Water System in SINCOR’s Administrative Areas. Criogénico de José, Edo Anzoátegui.
•	
•	Adaptation of Drainage System – Puerto la Cruz Refinery, Anzoátegui State.
•	
•	Construction of Foundations for Isobutane (69´) and Propane (48´) Spheres– CBI, Venezuelan.

Functions:
List the daily activities to be carried out by supervisors and foremen, according to the program of work. Verify the hours worked by your personal control. Monitor activities to ensure compliance with the implementation plan, and with the requirements of quality and system.

Construction Supervisor of pools with projected concrete system (Gunite), Coordination and Planning of works in the United States of America – Connecticut – U.S.A 

PROJECTS:
Construction of Affluent Cooling Tower. SUPEROCTANOS, CA. Criogénico de José, Edo Anzoátegui.

Functions:
Responsible of coordination, planning and execution of works in the construction area of foundations; fabrication, assembly and installation of spool, fittings, pipes, valves, etc.; installation and assembly of pumps; connection and power-up of equipment, etc.; work measurements; cost control.

•	Product Mixing and Handling – PLC Refinery (M.M.P Refinery –PLC) General Construction and Supervision.

JET-A1. Automation system, electricity and Control - pumping station and Control room. Puerto la Cruz Refinery.
