Read the cover story in Smart Business Magazine to learn how Lubrizol plans to advance its growth.   Data Protection Analyst Accountability Statement The data protection analyst role is accountable to deliver prompt and reliable security prevention, monitoring and response services to enable business productivity focusing on cloud and endpoint security. This role will have responsibility to implement and monitor data protection solutions and provide recommendations to manage information technology risks.  As member of the global information security team, responsibilities include:   • Provide subject matter expertise for tools and services that protect sensitive information and prevent data loss • Provide ownership for operational, administrative support, and full product lifecycle management of specific security tools (e.g. DLP, CASB) • Participate in the selection and implementation of security tools • Develop business relationships and recommendations to achieve maximum business value from those solutions • Enhance and support data classification program throughout the company • Refine, enforce, and manage discipline surrounding information security policies and standards balancing organizational risk and need against industry best practices • As part of a global information security team, advocate for information security management and provide security insights and recommendations to leadership • Work with management to develop key usage reports and policy infringement alerts to support each business area and the Information Security team (e.g. SOC, SIEM, Legal, Ethics, Compliance, etc.) • Inspect and fulfill requests for exceptions to security policies and standards related to protecting sensitive information • As necessary, support or participate in security testing and remediation efforts • Stay up-to-date on information technology and security trends to drive information protection needs • Provision application and network security access per user requests • Other information security activities as needed   Requirements/Skills/Experience • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field • 3+ years working in a hands-on technical IT support role • Knowledge and experience with DLP and CASB solutions • Knowledge and experience with security access administration systems and processes • Knowledge and experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Active Directory • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Effective communicator with technical and non-technical audience at all levels of the organization • Ability to convey security capabilities in business terms • Ability to build relationships and work in a collaborative, matrix-driven, global environment • Strong IT process discipline • Sound decision making, proactive/creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills • Must be a self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while providing quality customer service • Must be able to drive clear accountability and expectations • Responsive to internal stakeholders Considered a Plus • Experience with ObserveIT, McAfee MVISION Cloud (formerly SkyHigh Networks) • Experience with Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) • Experience with security features of Microsoft Office 365 • Understanding of Microsoft SCCM • Familiarity with privacy regulations, information security industry standards • Programming/scripting skills   Lubrizol Benefits Click Here to Learn About all of Our Benefits!
