Location: Barcelona, SpainTendering Engineer (m/w/d) 100% As a Tendering Engineer the primary mission on this role is to support of our Area Sales Managers in preparation of assigned bid-to-bid and bid-to-buy proposals, from tender reading to presentation to a customer including technical design and pricing.Your responsibilities: Preparation of technical and commercial offers preparation in the project quoting tool (customized commercial software solution) with the aim to design the most optimal offer for both customer and Gutor.Participate in quotation tool development including communication with main stakeholders from IT department and Tendering team.Analysis of technical and commercial requirements from customer and preparation of required solution including communication with clients for any clarifications.Offer cost evaluation and search for best technical and commercial alternatives.Obtain assistance from other departments (Engineering, Contract management, Cost mapping and estimating, Finance department, Project management and Customer Service) as required to prepare the proposal.Define and analyze outcome of test scenarios autonomously and with other departments.Prepare initial assessment of the technical, financial, schedule or any other unusual risks associated with a proposal.Ensure propose also abide by company solution, legal and financial guidelinesMaintain knowledge of approved company vendors, estimating methods as well as project execution procedures.Obtain feedback from projects for “lessons learned” to incorporate in future proposals.Prepare and lead the proposal turnover meeting with supporting documentation.
