SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WITH LINUX

•    Maintain the Unix and Linux environments across Datacenters which support Vodafone Group’s key business applications •    Design, develop, maintain, test, and improve software infrastructure for our public cloud estate.
•    Offer technical expertise in terms of performance, resilience, best practices and security of cloud infrastructure.
•    Join “the tip of the spear”, a team of professionals who is at the forefront of our digital transformation as a player and contributor •    Carry out technical investigations in case of performance incidents and analyse the problems encountered in order to determine the causes and provide solutions for troubleshooting.
•    Analyse and resolve customer requests for software issues.
•    Install operating system (VMware or UNIX/Linux products) and configure it to ensure and monitor system security and performance.
•    Responsible for the planning, scheduling and execution of all regular and complex maintenance changes, of all new service deployment changes, and of security related patching across the infrastructure.
•    Perform proactive maintenance activities based on automated work tools, alerts, and notifications.
With these skills you are a great candidate.
•    Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating Systems (Red Hat, HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, etc) •    Familiar with cloud technologies GCP/AWS/Azure (certification is a plus) •    Experience with virtualization systems •    Basic knowledge of shell scripting  •    Familiar with Agile methodology (Scrum and/or Kanban) •    Advanced English language   Sounds like the perfect job?
