Description Scopely is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Monopoly GO! Web team.

The team is based across Europe and the US, and is focused on working cross functionally to create and deliver captivating new experiences for our players.
What You'll Do Translate product designs into best-in-class interfaces, supporting the player experience in Monopoly GO! Drive the implementation of game-related mechanics into our web platform.
Work closely with feature owners, game engineers, the UX/UI team and other development teams to implement new features and technological pipelines for Monopoly GO! Participate in Technical Design Documents, Code Reviews and test suites to collaborate and share feedback with other team members Write automated, high-quality tests (unit, integration, e2e) and work with QA to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that works smoothly Live game support & troubleshooting, including addressing bugs and exploits and tackling opportunities to improve player experience Define and encourage the use of best practices for engineering throughout all development phases Help build a strong engineering team and culture What We're Looking For Experience driving and leading the technical execution of complex and interdisciplinary developments Mastery of C# or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming paradigms Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP...) and low-latency, high-scale distributed systems Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms) Strong knowledge of application design best patterns and practices; understanding of maintainability concerns when designing and implementing applications, both for server and client Solid understanding of mobile networking best practices.
