On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.Currently, we are looking for a Solution Design Engineer with good commercial project management skills to support the sales team to designing innovative technical and commercial solutions.What will you do in your day to day?To understand, interpret and respond to detailed technical specifications & documentation and to action the preparation of proposals for the supply chain division.To work with the sales team and customer prospect to ascertain the enquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals including quotation document.To submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide responses to any subsequent requests for clarificationTo respond to customer questions & requests in a timely and efficient manner.Define and evaluate KPIs/pricing compliance to track pricing performance and enable continuous improvementsTo handle incoming sales calls and maintain appropriate records.To support the Sales Team in negotiations with the customer and convert those opportunities into offers.To assist the team with further developing the costing process as part of the quotation process.What you need to succeed at GXO:Bachelor’s Degree (An engineering qualification would be advantageous but any technical or financial education with relevant experience will be considered).Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting or background of tendering and proposal preparation.Strong analytical skills and financial modelling skills to help drive recommendations through to completionHigh aptitude to provide critical thinking and works well under pressure with appropriate attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to work across functionsProficiency in English What will you find at GXO?Job stability and incorporation into an American multinational ranked number 10 in its sector.Career plan with development and training provided by the company.Be part of the national Solution Design team where you will have access to the Lean network and collaborate with other warehouses.Collaboration with the European innovation team in the selection and implementation of new technologies.GXO es un proveedor líder de soluciones de cadena de suministro de vanguardia de las empresas más exitosas del mundo.
