Job DescriptionQAD is seeking an experienced Services Business Development Manager who is passionate about working with customers, understanding their business needs, and collaborating with sales generating services business in the software industry. Through creativity and team collaboration, you’ll target manufacturing and supply chain customers and work closely with the sales team. You’ll be working with high level choice makers and need extensive experience building services pipelines in a B2B environment.You will be responsible for driving the execution of QAD’s services business goals through inspirational leadership of a growing team of Business Development Managers. You’ll stay abreast of latest sales developments, collaborate with marketing, sales and presales and contribute to the functional strategy by applying them within the organization.Travel is required to Customer sites and QAD arranged events (15% of the time, as necessary)Product implementation and project management experience is necessary for this roleThis is a fully remote opportunity from Spain.What You’ll Do:Work closely with the regional sales organization to position solutions and services as part of the sales cycle with prospective and existing clients. Activities include presentations of QAD services capabilities and specific services solutions to clients, workshops and discovery sessions to determine client requirements, development and presentation of proposals to clients and negotiation of terms and conditions.Be responsible for proposals and Statement of Work including details like project scope, assumptions and estimate.Maintain relationships and communication with the client install base within the region. Ensure clients view QAD services as a trusted advisor and provider of choice. Develop new and continuing business within client install base using territory planning, prospecting, qualification, client engagement, handling objections and close/win plan. Coordinate with Services Hub (global administrative team) to get support for development of statement of work, work orders, accurate data update in CRM system for opportunities. For large opportunities, conduct a services handover meeting with the Project delivery team and provide documents and details related to the opportunityQualificationsEducation/Licenses: Bachelor’s in business, supply chain or computer scienceExperience: Minimum 5 years of product, implementation and project management experience; QAD ERP implementation would be ideal but any other ERP implementation experience will be taken into account, or SaaS software implementationSalesforce or any CRM experience will be a plusComputer skills: Proficient in MS Office, Google SuiteFluent English communication skills both spoken and written are mandatoryFeel a deep sense of ownership, accountability, pride, and passion for your workHave a reputation with cross-functional teams of being collaborative, innovative, inspirational, accountable, and reliablePersonify a ‘lead by example’ management style, with a willingness to get into the trenches with your team when neededAdditional InformationYour health and well being are important to us at QAD.
