Job Description Summary.
Under limited supervision, develop high level design and detailed design deliverables including designs for technical architecture and system Interfaces to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects.
Code and unit test.
Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution including system level and integration tests.
Frequently leads large projects.
Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity.
Provides guidance to those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Information.
This position is for a FinOps Senior Technical Analyst to be a key leader on the FedEx Enterprise Cloud FinOps team within the IT Asset Management organization.
This team’s mission is to be a positive catalyst for IT cultural and technological transformation across FedEx.
This role will assist with leading several key FedEx initiatives including influencing cloud governance, cloud cost management, private/public cloud, with a strong focus on developing and executing automation.
Lead automation effort of public cloud cost management tools & processes for FedEx multi-cloud providers (Azure, OCI and GCP) Facilitate internal customers to appropriate cloud platform & tooling in partnership with the Cloud Enablement and Platform Engineering teams Develop and execute scripts to run automations in public cloud to enable cloud cost savings and compliance using SQL, Python and/or Terraform Familiarity with software development and public cloud platforms including container orchestration (PCF, AKS) Ensure all internal customer requests are properly addressed in timely manner Metrics focused methodology to direct business decisions Represent the voice of the customer to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs Assist in managing requirements and prioritization through.

Minimum Qualifications.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Requires five (5) or more years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
