Our brand has been featured in such leading media as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Teen Vogue, Allure, and many others.With a head office located in Barcelona, our team operates across Europe, the US, and China.About the RoleThe Senior Sales Manager - US Market will play a critical role in the company's success, with responsibility for the US market in winning market share, growing revenue, and profitability. Critical to achieving this is to work closely with various Distribution/Retail partners through developing and agreeing on annual business plans, driving initiatives through outstanding trade execution, customer/consumption analysis and tracking KPIs in line with the company strategy which leads to an increase in distribution and ultimately consumption.Define a scalable B2B sales strategy to expand LMM across the US and open new brand retail distribution points.Manage and execute the go-to-market plan with optimal schematic recommendations for each retailer.Work closely with co-founder and management team on the sales strategy and bi-annual client presentations and programs.Partner with and manage day-to-day relationships with broker agencies for largest retail accounts.Deliver sharp, accurate volume forecasts with updated P&Ls to the leadership team.Monitor the beauty and nail polish market in the US, identifying trends, distribution channels, and competitors to bring trade and consumer insights into the annual planning cycle, looking for opportunities to always grow the business.Conduct regular business reviews with the cross-leadership team to communicate retail channel strategy and priorities, review business KPIs, discuss opportunities and threats in the market.Monitor and analyze weekly/monthly/quarterly new partner onboarding, and retail sales to dynamically refine the sales strategy. Ensure your team is well aware of the established strategy and the assigned sales, distribution, and execution targets based on the overall business strategy with consistent follow-through of these targets.Work with B2B partners to develop relationships that generate long-term value and be regarded as a key supplier in the nail polish category, ensuring that we are all working towards shared goals and best practices.Formally agree on annual/ quarterly/ monthly trade planning and sales targets with B2B partners and frequently follow up on the progress to hit the agreed target.Manage margin negotiations and set commercial terms for sustainable brand growth.Establish monthly key retailer reports, identifying key consumption trends and recommendations.Define the US sales department structure according to the company's vision and organizational needs.Manage and develop a team of 2, while recruiting new personnel (as needed) to enable a high-performing team.Our Ideal CandidateMinimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience in retail sales. CPG experience is a must.3+ years of people management experience with a successful track record in developmentProven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targetsMultichannel experience with beauty retailers, department stores, pharmacy chains independent, professional beauty salons, concept stores, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must (native or fluent English)Prior experience in the Beauty IndustryExperience in Category Management & Trade Marketing are preferredExpert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, and cold calling through to negotiation and closingCommercial acumen: strong understanding of sales processes, ROIs, and ensuring the business P&L requirements are deliveredExcellent forecasting track recordAbility to communicate with different stakeholders to build and upholdpartner relationshipsHighly collaborative team player with and entrepreneurial spiritStrong negotiation and influencing skillsSuperb attention to detailExperience working with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, and finance as well as with external business partnersProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Office Apps is a must.
