Designing and delivering added value energy solutions is what we do.If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you.We are currently seeking a Senior Piping Stress Engineer, reporting directly to Manager to join the team based in Barcelona.About The JobPerforms stress and support engineering related activities for assigned project and activity and Prioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverablesRoles and Responsibilities:Responsible for the quality and respect of project schedule for assigned piping stress analysis tasksPreparation of stress critical line list of assigned projectPerforms stress calculations of all kinds of piping networks including critical onesIssues piping loads to civil and structural discipline for design of pipe-rack/ technological structures and foundationsResponsible for the design of all piping supports componentsReview of Client’s technical documentation and requirementsPreparation of project piping stress specification and critical lines listPrepare technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by stress analysisDo technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offersIssues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components purchase ordersReviews and approve vendors documents for stress related commentsChecking of sub-contracted stress and support engineering documentsChecking of isometrics being issued for construction for stress and support point of viewWe offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.About YouBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with at least 7 - 10 years of overall experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Fertilizers plants.Practical work experience of minimum 5 years in Piping stress and support engineering to demonstrate as experienced piping stress engineer.Knowledge and experience with various ASME/ API/ NEMA/ TEMA/ ASTM, IS codes and standards as well as various PMC standards.Conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/ compressors/ reactors etc.Conversant with Anchor study requirements.Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.Fluent in Spanish and English.
