    $ Job Duties.
Leverage artificial intelligence, data science, and advanced analytics research throughout novel project execution for commercial pharmaceuticals business.
Evaluate large healthcare relevant datasets and data analysis workflows, and configure/apply complex data sets to build business value.
Develop algorithms that influence decisions at various levels in the organization, including omnichannel sales and marketing optimization, patient/payer analytics, commercial strategy, and related commercially-focused model development.
Invent and customize AI-type algorithms when necessary.
Lead and deliver projects, and develop solutions to deliver insights.
Build and apply machine learning tools to support business decision making, sales and marketing best practices, processes, and related technology.
Lead matrixed teams across business and technology, to support multiple therapeutic areas and commercial functions.
Oversee the development of software programs, algorithms, and automated processes that cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large data sets from multiple disparate sources.
Identify and communicate to stakeholders meaningful and actionable insights from large data and metadata sources, and ensure efficient operation of the function.
Play leadership role in scoping out new data science projects based on brand requirements and feedback from business stakeholders.
Qualifications Ph.
.
degree in Biological Sciences, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Medical Informatics, Computational Biology or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with.
1.   Machine learning platforms/environments within healthcare or commercial pharmaceuticals industry; 2.   AI-type algorithms, including machine learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, neural networks, and/or Bayesian models; 3.   Clinical Data Analytics for large healthcare datasets with respect to data analysis workflows; 4.   Working with Pyspark, SQL, and one or more programming language such as Python, R, SAS or Java; 5.   Delivering on data science projects using predictive technologies, data mining and/or text mining; and 6.   Working in a cloud-based (AWS) technology stack.
