Senior Data Scientist (Machine Learning) | Candy Core Gameplay Team We are looking for a passionate and creative Senior Data Scientist! Someone who is interested in pushing the boundaries of machine learning and games analytics, with a demonstrable ability to apply your skills, be it technical, behavioural or economic, practically in order to generate business value.

Your role within our Kingdom You will be working with a diverse set of team members in a lively, dynamic and fast- paced environment.
You'll help us further understand, model, predict, segment and retain our players and join a community of 100+ business intelligence & analytical specialists.
You'll be part of our Candy Core Gameplay Team, which is a cross- functional team consisting of other Data Scientists, Product Managers, Game Designers and Developers.
You will also be working closely together with our wider central AI/ML community of ML Researchers, ML Engineers, and ML Data Scientists, focusing on developing and operationalizing machine learning (ML) models as part of our machine learning initiatives, which includes identifying, scoping, implementing and analysing machine learning use cases for our games.
You will play a key role in ensuring the best performance of our products with the goal of providing the best experience to our players.
You will be responsible for Identifying potential business opportunities, translating business needs to technical requirements, scoping and building scalable machine learning models and solutions, Designing scalable, efficient, quality data science tools to inform operations and measure performance.
Translating requirements from cross- disciplinary Game Teams into data and ML solutions.
Surfacing and communicating our results to both technical and non- technical colleagues by generating dashboards, reports and presentations.
Being the pro- active owner of the entire data chain for your project(s).

degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, in other quantitative fields, or other engineering/scientific areas with proven experience.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist.
General machine learning expertise, i.

regression, classification, and clustering algorithms, time- series analysis, Bayesian methods, and survival analysis.
Prototype- to- production engineering skills in Python, including standard methodologies such as proper documentation, library packaging, versioning, testing and task scheduling.
Advanced SQL skills.
Professional habits around model validation, testing, and tracking.
Solid understanding of statistics, e.

statistical power analysis, significance testing, t- tests, ANOVA.
Experience in distributed data processing and modelling (batch & streaming) Experience building data pipelines and ML pipelines Experience in using purpose- built MLOps tools such as Google's Vertex AI Platform Designing good ways of communicating, visualising or reporting your results/analysis so they are clear and unambiguous.
Good collaborator management skills.
A passion for analytics and diving into as well as experiencing the products on which you work (video game enthusiasm with a solid understanding of the connection of gameplay to spending behaviour is a plus) Bonus skills Development in or exposure to environments/software products in Python and Java Experience managing or mentoring other Data Scientists and ML Engineers in the team.
