SENIOR DATA ANALYST

MN8 is headquartered in New York with offices in Boca Raton, Florida, Dallas, Texas, and Madrid, Spain.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst with a focus on the renewable energy industry, particularly in solar farms, EV charging, and battery businesses. This role will be instrumental in managing the Data Lake, API Gateway in Azure Services, and Power BI, leveraging data insights to drive strategic decision-making within our organization.The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Azure Services such as Databricks, ML Studio, API Management, Purview, and Data Factory, along with strong problem-solving skills for analyzing large volumes of data. Full stack development experience is preferred, enabling the candidate to contribute across the entire data lifecycle within the renewable energy sector.Proficiency in English is essential, as it is the primary language of communication within our multinational team and with external partners and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Manage and optimize the Data Lake in Azure Services, specifically tailored to the needs of the renewable energy industry, including solar farms, EV charging, and battery businesses.Develop and maintain API Gateway solutions in Azure, ensuring seamless integration of data sources and systems within the renewable energy ecosystem.Utilize Power BI to create insightful visualizations and reports focused on renewable energy performance metrics, sustainability goals, and operational efficiency.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the renewable energy sector to understand unique business requirements and translate them into data solutions.Implement and maintain data pipelines using Azure Services such as Databricks, ML Studio, API Management, Purview, and Data Factory, with a focus on renewable energy data sources and analytics.Perform advanced data analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive innovation and growth within solar farms, EV charging, and battery businesses.Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and technical specifications, with a keen understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the renewable energy industry.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data management and analytics within the renewable energy sector, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on the renewable energy industry, including solar farms, EV charging, and battery businesses.Proficiency in Azure Services such as Databricks, ML Studio, API Management, Purview, and Data Factory, tailored to the unique needs of renewable energy data analytics.Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, with a track record of developing actionable insights.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data specific to MN8.Full stack development experience preferred, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R, applied to renewable energy data analytics.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders within the renewable energy industry at all levels of the organization.Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business impact within the renewable energy sector.MN8 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and fully subscribes to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity to ensure that all applicants and employees are considered for hire, promotion, and job status without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital or familial status.
