The Last Mile team within Amazon Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive Amazon's Last Mile mobility procurement as we expand or scope into additional mobility solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the rapidly growing Amazon Logistics organization.
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for the improvement and execution of Amazon’s Last Mile Global van and technology procurement and managing the sourcing of tens of thousands of vans/products annually across the globe.
To be successful in this role, you need to be comfortable to manage highly complex relationships with external parties and driving multiple internal Amazon teams to achieve your goals.
his role can be based in Luxembourg, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Munich, or London and requires the ability to travel % of the time.
ey job responsibilities- Develop and deliver the annual EU delivery van sourcing strategy.- Manage annual sourcing process (RFP) in collaboration with cross functional teams to secure future capacity at optimal terms.- Expansion of the EU van fleet into new EU markets.- Negotiate and enhance commercial terms with senior executives of major van manufacturers.- Full ownership of Amazons annual multimillion van spend including senior leadership sign off.
- Challenge partners on timelines, quality of service and other potential bottlenecks.- Use databases and analytical tools to make data-based decisions.- Internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals.- Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision and are aligned.- Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify inter-dependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership.
