HAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs an SDN Network Specialist you will build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
ou will be part of a talented team that demonstrates daily superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
We need somebody like you to help us in all these on-going challenges.
anage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
nstall, configure, test and maintain the network infrastructure, DNS, Load balancer, switches, routers, also SDN elements like VMware NSX and different network management tools.
erform network maintenance and system upgrades.
roactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability.
onitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Support & Engineering Teams to implement those fixesWrite and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasksParticipate in the design of information and operational support systemsProvide 2nd and 3rd level supportLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
EXPERIENCE5+ years’ experience as Network Specialist with main focus in switching and routing.
pecific experience in the financial sector is a plus.
EDUCATIONEducation System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEProven hands-on network engineering experienceDeep knowledge of Arista/Cisco underlay switches.
xperience with SDN Products (e.
., NSX, CISCO ACI)Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.
., Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, , QoS, VXLAN, EVPN).
olid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
ands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Monitoring Tools (Netscout, CA Spectum, VMware VRNI, Arista Cloud Vision Portal).
oad balancer – F5, AVI.
NS - Infoblox, bind.
ublic Cloud experience preferably in AWS and MS Azure is a plus.
olid scripting skills (e.
., Shell scripts, Python, Power Shell,).
loud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS).
utomation (AVD, Ansible).
xperience in Agile Methodology and Tools (Kanban, JIRA, Confluence…).
