Job Description Pharma Solutions is an IFF division with a strong legacy in providing leading excipients and vital expertise to tackle customer challenges in pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplement and industrial industries.
Our broad range of excipient solutions for drug delivery and medical device technologies enables customers to create efficient and cost-effective therapies that improve human health.
IFF Pharma Solutions Business is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to manage and grow existing customer sales within Spain and Europe.
A candidate for this role should have experience of sales/business or project development gained within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical market, experience with CRM software applications project pipeline development, be comfortable working as part of a larger regional sales team or independently when necessary.
This position can be based remotely in Spain.
As a sales manager, your main activities will include include.
annual customer sales budgeting, regular monthly forecasts, driving price realization, negotiating contract renewals, supporting marketing and technical initiatives, building new and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities Manage Key regional customers.
Manage selected customer business in the region.
Focus on developing project pipeline through SFDC.
Build superior customer relationships that can be leveraged to attain higher business share.
Ensure maximum account penetration for optimal customer relationships and sales opportunities.
Develop relationships with key personnel at pharmaceutical/nutraceutical customers.
Account planning and management.
Drive annual customer budgeting process.
Provide regular accurate forecast demand updates from select customer.
Develop key account plans.
Identify and recommend opportunities for new business sales.
Link account strategy to the marketing plan, and manufacturing capability.
Work effectively with regional and global marketing and technical colleagues.
Drive the development of account plan which identifies opportunities, risks.
Take leadership role in key negotiation activities with select customers.
Sales development.
Drive project development at select accounts.
Identify business growth targets at select customers within pharmaceutical excipients, API, and nutraceutical, dietary supplement markets.
Utilize resources (marketing, technical support) to achieve optimum opportunity conversion.
Job Requirements The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or related disciplines with several years commercial experience in a business-to-business environment ideally within a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sales environment.
You have regional account / business management experience.
You are ready to travel internationally  (Spain and across Europe, approx.
25% travel).
Excellent presentation & communication skills.
Financial acumen (reports/data).
Experience of working in culturally and geographically diverse teams.
You have a  Successful track record of growing sales.
Experience of project pipeline development.
CRM (Sales Force).
You are Fluent in Spanish or Catalan with high degree of proficiency in English.

The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette.
