Context And Mission The High Performance Artificial Intelligence (HPAI) research group is expanding, attracting a diverse pool of talent and resources.
A significant project focused on foundation models for healthcare is gaining momentum, requiring capable individuals to drive its progress.
We are currently seeking three candidates to join the project, with expertise in Vision Language Model (VLM) research and development, as well as experienced MLOps engineers.
Depending on qualifications and background, positions may be offered as either a researcher or a research engineer.

Design and implement the infrastructure for deploying and managing machine learning models in production.
Together with our Research Engineers develop and maintain data pipelines using open source tools like DVC to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data to our models.
Strengthen post-deployment processes with comprehensive testing, monitoring.
Provide support for the infrastructure and services of the group.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MLOps technologies and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.
Stay updated on the advances of the Foundational Models.
Supervise developers to maintain an efficient work environment.
Represent the group in various fora and discussions.
Requirements Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python and C++.
Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Big Data.
Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard sensitive information and infrastructure.
Knowledge of parallel and distributed programming models and tools.
Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience Experience with Docker, Singularity, Kubernetes.
Experience with version control, gitlab CD/CI, Ansible.
Experience with DVC, Apache Airflow, MLFlow, Kubeflow, GitOps will be a plus.
Working knowledge of Foundational Models (LLMs, VLMs) preferred.
